1971 Bertram 31

location icon Huntington, New York
Year 1971
Length 31 ft
Price
$147,500

This is a spectacular Bertram 31 that was extensively refurbished in 2000 by Worton Creek Marina in Chestertown, MD. Her rebuild included brand new Cummins 6BTA engines, full paint, electronics, wiring, plumbing, etc. The rebuild was so extensive and so well done that this vessel was featured as the cover story in Chesapeake Bay Magazine.

Since the current owner purchased her in spring 2017, she has had a full Awlgrip paint job on the hull in "Flag Blue" with a white bootop and the aft deck has been painted as well. The main cabin has been rebuilt in varnished mahogany. A new sink, refrigerator and cushions have been installed. Both upper & lower helm wheels were replaced as well as all the canvas.

This is a special 31 that would be hard to duplicate. Please call us today to see this outstanding Bertram 31. She is currently in the water, fully commissioned and ready to go!

Galley

The Galley is located to starboard of the main salon directly across from the dinette.   A clever feature is the way the helm seat is made.  The back is made of the same Corian as the galley countertop.   It is hinged at the bottom, so that the seat back can be folded down to become an extension for the galley countertop.   This can be seen in the accompanying photos.

  • Norcold DE-451 refrigeration system
  • Atlantic Marine 6 gallon water heater w/ heat exchanger
