MONTAUK LIGHT is a very well found vessel in great shape for her age. She was purchased by her current owners in June 2021. She had a very good survey at the time and the plan was to cruise her south, through the Panama Canal, across the Pacific and ultimately get her home to the east coast of Africa.
Unfortunately, due to unforeseen circumstances at home, the owners must return without fulfilling the original goal of a circumnavigation.
Their change of circumstances offers a wonderful opportunity for someone to step aboard a Skye 51 in St. Martin that is ready to go, anywhere, today.
The prior owner had MONTAUK LIGHT in Huntington, NY for the last 24 years and took excellent care of her. The fact that the new owners flew in, spent a few weeks familiarizing themselves with her, cruised the Northeast for the summer and headed south in the fall without any problems attests to the care she has had.
