Manufacturer Provided Description

When it comes to cruising, the Oceanis range is robust and reliable. They sail on all the seas of the world, whatever the state of the sea and the wind. The technology used for their construction has been well tried and tested: the inner moulding, a real framework for the hull, is strengthened in areas of stress and gives maximum rigidity. As with all the Oceanis, the Oceanis 321 benefits from the results of research carried out by Beneteau's Research and Development department: between the gelcoat and the laminate, the Beneteau Water Shield (a Beneteau patent) is a real shield against the porosity of the gelcoat, and thus protects the hull. Her hull is fast and efficient on all points of sail, with a long waterline and a plumb bow, that cuts through the waves and the chop with ease. Her bulb keel with wings and her rudder protected by a skeg give her helm a nice feel, a moderate heel and excellent stability, while maintaining a shallow draft. The Oceanis 321 is also generous on deck, with a large "T" shaped cockpit; numerous portholes and hatches for ventilation; the simplicity of the handling lines (brought back to the cockpit on jammers), and quality winches and equipment, including rigid vang, furling genoa kept clear of the anchor, standard wheel steering, and opening transom with swim platform in skirt. A classic mast version is available. Numerous portholes provide plenty of ventilation in the salon and cabins. The interior volume of this 32.5-foot sailboat is truly astonishing: from the "L" shaped galley to port, to the saloon settee to starboard, from the forward cabin to the aft cabins, the space has been perfectly distributed for maximum pleasure and comfort. The warm atmosphere of the Oceanis 321 is enhanced by the richness of finely crafted varnished cherry woodwork.
